A.R. Williams boasts a history almost as long as Canada's. Our roots began in Ontario on March 19th, 1895 as The A.R. Williams Machinery Company Ltd., distributors of machine tools and related supplies. Western expansion in July of 1942 brought the company to Alberta.
Our philosophy for providing customer service excellence has created two focused dealership groups servicing the Materials Handling equipment, and Truck Mounted equipment markets.
A.R. Williams’ reputation as an industry leader and its growing market share have been built on long-term customer relationships and a team effort.
In 1984 the Alberta assets were acquired by Arnie Charbonneau and consisted of 2 locations with 38 employees. Through local market focus and industry specialization, the company has become a major player in the equipment industry growing to over
200 employees and twelve locations throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
